Non-medical assistance is the best of both worlds.  It helps daily life and enhances independence for someone who:

• lives independently, but needs help with household tasks and errands.
• is home recuperating from a hospital stay.
• needs more time than you can give due to your job, kids and more.

Hiring Caregivers: What We Ask Ourselves

1. Is this person qualified to provide care?
2. Does their background indicate a quality, solid person?
3. Would we hire this person to help our own parents?

Matching a Caregiver with Your Loved One

We pay special attention to two areas:

1. Client needs/wishes: What characteristics will best satisfy your loved one? Do they prefer a male or a female? Do they like to tell stories and need a great listener? Or someone who will play games? Or someone who is quiet? These are important distinctions.
2. Chemistry: There simply is no substitute for meeting someone in person. We encourage you and your loved one to meet and approve the caregiver before care begins.

Our clients develop fond and often cherished relationships with their caregiver(s). In the process, independence and confidence grows!
